Sounding Bob Type Level Meter KSL Series
Sounding bob type level meter has a robust housing and
performs an excellent durability under severe ambient conditions.
It is applicable to various processes.
Features
- With a simple mechanical detection system, it provides stable indications regardless of material in the tank and ambient conditions.
- Internal CPU enables direct pulse/analog output from the sensing unit.(KSL-T8, KSL-MT)
- A trouble alarm contact available as standard. (KSL-T8, KSL-MT)
- Many different check modes, including internal CPU self check mode are available.
- No external space for timer is needed as sensing parts contains auto measuing timer inside.
Operating Principles
When a start signal is input, the motor is activated and
the measuring tape is winded off to lower the weight.
Accordingly, pulses are transmitted at regular intervals.
Once the weight touches the surface of the material in the tank, the motor stops and the measurement value on the level meter is output. Then, the motor winds up the measuring tape to return to the original position.
